Say Yes!

“For all the Promises of God are Yes in Him. And in Him Amen, unto the glory of God - through us.” (2 Cor. 1:20)

Authority & Power:

Did you know that regardless of what others say and do, you have the spiritual authority to rise above their actions and words! (Job 22:28) In fact, not even the devil himself can resist or thwart the plans of a Child of God when he or she uses the authority that God has placed in their hands! (Lk. 10:19)(Mt. 16:19)

Releasing Faith:

Your faith can change your world! No matter how difficult things might seem at this moment or how small your faith may feel. Even a little faith can do great things when its released. But you must get it engaged toward your situation if you expect to breakthrough into the place God is calling you. When your voice agrees with God’s purposes it is going to change that which is affecting you negatively.

God has given you dominion over your life. Dominion is the power and the authority to govern and control that which concerns you. He has put you in a position to grow in faith and every time you speak, you are setting the limits upon the enemy’s approach. God has commissioned you to set the spiritual boundaries and utterly defeat those things that are not in sync with God’s will for your life (2 Cor 10:3-6). Its a battle over your affections, but when God has captured your heart, the devil can’t move you.

Say ‘Yes’ to His Promises:

You’re a Believer! Your confession of faith is your “yes”. Set the decree ever before you and praise Him with the shout! Remember: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Mt. 18:18). You have been given authority on earth to decree God’s will and He will back it up in heaven! God gave dominion for a holy purpose and you have the privilege to be used by God to speak His will and declare His desires on Earth (Mt. 6:10).

“Will of God – Be Done… On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

Revelation Knowledge

“For You will light my lamp, the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by My God I can leap over a wall.” (Ps. 18:28-29)

The Hebrew word for light, “owr” means to be or become light, to shine, to be illuminated. It carries the meaning of spiritual revelation. When God shines His glorious light into our spiritual journey, we experience the sensation of a real awakening. Something is being turned on and destroys the dominion of darkness that surrounds our understanding.

Revelation is an Unfolding of Reality:

This “aha” moment causes us to see things for what they really are. Being enlightened simply opens our eyes to what is already there, but hidden from our understanding. God often hides things for our discovery! He wants us to come into Truth with a commitment to obey and abide in it. When you and I become aware of spiritual things and possess a fresh understanding about life in relationship with God, we are walking in the spirit of revelation. You receive revelation knowledge by drawing near to Him, not simply by getting information about Him (Jms. 4:8-10).

Another place in Scripture we see this little word (owr) used is in Psalms 119:130. The Amplified Bible says, “The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light (owr); their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple”.

Revelation Transforms:

We must realize the impact of revelation knowledge. At its entrance and unfolding; discernment and comprehension come to even the most simple minded man. We can and need to walk in revelation knowledge everyday, because our enemy, Satan is like a prowling lion looking for the moments of blindness in our lives, so that he can pounce and drag us into deception (1 Pe. 5:8). With spiritual revelation comes wisdom from God and intuition about spiritual things. Our greatest thoughts, visions or strategies for life are yet to be revealed in us, yet they give us the advantage God offers His Children.

We must train our spirit to receive revelation knowledge or we will find ourselves walking after the patterns of this world. Its not wrong to have natural knowledge (the world’s wisdom), but it is a more limited form of discernment. When we walk in spiritual revelation our understanding is not limited by our five senses; sight, hearing, feelings, smelling or tasting. Living under the influence of what God is revealing is the definition of the renewed mind (Rom. 12:1-2).

Tapping into Deeper Revelation:

It is by the Holy Spirit that the deeper things of God become available to our perception. Therefore, we need to be taught how to open ourselves to the ministry of the Holy Spirit and how to recognize what He is imparting to us on the inside. Our spiritual growth and effectiveness in ministry depend upon the ability to hear a current word from God (Rom. 10:17). The more the Word of God renews our mind and the Holy Spirit positions our heart toward obedience, the more clarity we receive in the spirit realm. Its no different than if we turn the dial on a radio and hear the variety of music styles in the air… tuning in offers clarity.

What Revelation Knowledge will do for you.

  • 1)  Change your perception…
    a. of God – (1 Cor. 2:10) says “For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.”
    b. of yourself – (2 Cor. 3:18) says “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
    c. of your purpose – Moses before the revelation of God saw himself as a shepherd to Jethro; and nothing more, but when the Lord spoke to him, he understood that his purpose was to set the children of Israel free. (Exod. 2-3)
    d. of your destiny – After meeting with Christ on the way to Damascus Paul’s perception about his destiny was totally changed (Acts 26:15-18).
  • 2)  Activate Faith – In 2 Kings 4:9 that woman had to take action to make sure that they prepared a room for the man of God. The knowledge that she had was coming from inside so she could not rest until she had fulfilled what the Spirit had told her.
  • 3)  Deeper Discernment – The Apostle Paul would not know of his future until he got a revelation of what was about to happen. After that he knew they were going to survive and was able to deliver such a message (Acts 27:22-25).
  • 4)  Clarity of Focus – There was great focus in Paul’s ministry because he had a revelation of God.
  • 5)  Increased Passion – The Apostles Peter and John ministered with passion and had little distractions from the vision for ministry. Paul further says to live is Christ and to die is gain (Phil. 1:21). That kind of life can only be lived by people with a revelation of Christ.
  • 6)  Release A Pioneering Heart – With a word in your spirit from God nothing can stop you from doing what the Lord would have you accomplish (Lk. 1:37).

Restoration

“I will restore or replace for you” says the Lord, “the years that the locust has eaten… the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.” (Joel 2:25-27)

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Although the past is irreversible and overwhelming at times… God is the restorer of broken dreams and shattered lives! He has declared a New Day available for all of humanity! God has laid a foundation of hope in Christ – He is saying we can be a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17)… and our old ways can be in the past! There is a new beginning waiting for us, filled with new chances, new opportunities and new expectations (Isa. 43:18-21). God will wipe away our rotten past and restore that which was lost, stolen or destroyed by sin, brokenness or the devil.

Restoration begins by Believing!

As the Savior of mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ has done all to rescue us from the things that diminish or destroy us. If we can but believe – hope opens the door! There is a restoration coming into our spirits, minds, bodies, relationships, and other aspects of our humanity. Believers can be delivered from oppression (Acts 10:38) and rest in the safety that effects spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being (Mt. 11:28-30).

Come, you weary, broken and lost and find a place of safety in His loving care for you.

Hope is a Destination!

Run into the arms of your Father in the Spirit! There you will have plenty and be complete, satisfied and whole. He wants you to know the truth and the freedom of walking in His Presence! It is His joy to reveal His heart toward you! He is a Father… like no other. He will not allow His people to be orphans or feel ashamed anymore. This is a profound truth that no one else can claim.

Let Him speak into your heart today… “I the Lord am your God and there is no one else!”

The Key of Blessing

Hearts are shaped by Blessing

“You are blessed with all spiritual blessings” (Eph 1:3).

Blessing is a powerful key. Blessing is God’s primary tool of confirming identity and establishing you into your purpose. When God blesses you, He accepts and receives you as His own. In Hebrew, the word blessing means: to be empowered to prosper.

“Empowered to Prosper!”

A simple way to recognize blessing is through honoring treatment. To be regarded as ones who have great worth and value tells others that favor and blessing rest upon our lives.

Jesus used the word “blessing” more than anyone in human history. When Jesus blessed people (children or adults) He was empowering them to prosper.

Blessing is a powerful form of communication.

The highest form of blessing comes from a parent to their child. God’s original intent was to provide a safe place to release and nurture identity into children. To communicate blessing and transfer values among family members is why God established the home. The home is to be a haven where children are loved and affirmed as their identity is being uncovered and embraced as their own. Home should feel like a house of blessing.

The Key of Blessing… affirming words.

Every child needs to hear the words, “I love you, and I am proud of you.” A parent’s affirmation and blessing can empower their children to prosper and thrive as adults. The effect of parental blessings affect each of us throughout our lives; in our marriages, businesses, and even in our ministries. One of the biggest misconceptions about blessings is that they should be given only to those who deserve them. I would propose, that the door of any child’s heart can be opened by using the key of blessing.

Clothed in Glory

It’s interesting to me that all of the creatures God made had coverings… except man. Animals had fur, birds had feathers and fish had scales or shells. But man did not have any outer covering, as he didn’t need it before the fall. Why? Because God clothed man in His Glory.

“You made him (man) a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him (or clothed him) with glory and honor.” (Ps 8:5)

God’s Original Intent:

The atmosphere of the Garden of Eden was permeated with the same splendor as heaven. There was no sin in the beginning and man walked with God everyday in a peace filled relationship in the “cool of the day”. This means they walked together in a spiritual dimension where they shared a oneness that was maintained by God’s Glory (a covering) and God’s Honor (atmosphere).

The Garden of Eden was Heaven on Earth:

The original Hebrew word for “crowned” means “to encircle”, “to surround’. In other words, Adam and his wife were surrounded by God’s Glory and Honor. They had been clothed with the Glory of God and didn’t need natural clothing and they were living in an atmosphere of perfect relationship and did not need natural knowledge. God was giving man a wonderful environment to rule, where God would truly be their provision and protection if this stewardship could be maintained.

Losing the Glory:

However, once they had been deceived by the serpent and sinned, they were no longer able to focus on spiritual reality as the Glory that once clothed them, seemed to lift. They found themselves naked. Notice that they immediately respond to their new condition by becoming afraid. They made coverings for themselves and hid from God. This is an interesting response since Adam and his wife felt no shame of being naked before they sinned (Gen 2:25).

“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.” (Gen 3:7)

Why would they even consider making coverings for themselves? Weren’t they the only human beings in the Garden of Eden? Weren’t they surrounded by only animals, birds and fish?

Hearing God’s Voice:

The reason is given when Adam is answering God’s call “He answered, I heard You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid” (Gen 3:10). Adam and Eve were afraid, because they were naked before God. I understand being ashamed, but why would they be afraid? They were afraid, because they were naked and had lost their original God given Glory. Now they found themselves controlled by a deception, a satanic lie that they needed natural covering and natural knowledge to sustain their lives. This came as a fulfillment to what God said to them earlier, “…you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die” (Gen 2:17). The moment they were no longer in God’s Glory, they died spiritually and inner peace was replaced with fear.

Spiritual Death:

We are able to see a powerful expression of God’s Fathering love in the moments following the broken relationship. God, seemingly unaware of man’s location, calls out to man and asks him of his connection to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God says, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree I commanded you that you should not eat?” (Gen 3:11)

Spiritual Life:

Then God makes the first sacrifice, in order to clothe them properly.  ”The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them” (Gen 3:21). God would spill the blood of a lamb; one of His created beings, to provide a garment suitable to cover human shame. This would serve as humanity’s first revelation that spiritual life is in the Blood.

The Apostle Paul said it this way, “for all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God” (Rom 3:23)

Our spiritual death has its connection to sin by the loss of our covering (God’s Glory) and our relationship (God’s Honor) based on His Presence (Holy Spirit atmosphere). Yet the Apostle Paul goes on to tell us of the reality of God’s grace… God’s favorable actions toward us who trust in Christ Jesus. He  tells us that God has restored access to His Glory and Honor in the free gift of salvation. Access to all that was lost could be restored through the Blood of Jesus.

“We have been freely justified through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Rom 3:24).

The Gospel of Restored Glory:

This good news cannot be overstated, because it is not accomplished by anything man can do (Rom 3:20)(2 Cor 5:21). God proved His love by sending Jesus to die for us, in our place and for the spiritual relationship to be restored that once was established in the Garden of Eden. The Bible says that when anyone turns to God in faith, a veil is lifted from their hearts and they are enabled to behold the Glory of God in the very face of Jesus Christ (2 Cor 3:16-4:6). As believers who continue to look into that Glory a transformation takes place, whereby we are being changed into the same image (God’s original intent) from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Cor 3:18).

Jesus Said – Be Clothed In Glory: Power from On High!

“And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city (Jerusalem) until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Lk 24:49)
