Exceedingly, Abundantly………. and Overwhelming!

The very first Revival Hut Ministries Apostolic Training Center opened on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Busia District, Uganda, with 105 attendees. By the end of classes on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 there were officially 120 Pastors enrolled in the “All Church Training Series”.  On Thursday, March 8, 2012, Ron found out that there were 80 more Pastors waiting to begin classes in Lutolo, Uganda.  After hearing this Ron began to check with the Pastors attending the sessions.  Pastor Steven from Lutolo has attended the classes and resonded possitvely to the possibility of another class in Lutolo.   After meeting together, this Pastor agreed to take the classes 3 days one week and then return to Lutolo and teach the same class the following week to the 80 leaders in Lutolo.  So, within 2 days 2 Training Centers with over 200 students have been birthed!  That’s right, twins.

Unto Him be Glory in the Church

You might wonder, “why so specific about the dates?”  That would be, because I believe that God takes an interest in the “times and seasons”. Some day I will want to remember the exact “birthdays” of these 2 events.  But, as my mind begans to swirl with the weight of responsibility… I’m reminded “this is God’s dream not ours!”

I could easily let my thoughts go… ”Oh my, that means a need 80 more manuals”, “How will we get them there?”  ”How much will this cost?”  ”How will we return for the graduation in 9 months”.  There are so many questions- and reason leaves me short of answers.

After the meetings today Ron began to share about something rather interesting that happened to him recently.  Ron was sitting at a breakfast table on Monday morning and all of a sudden a little bird hopped up on his table.  He noticed that the bird only had one leg and the second leg was just a bit of a peg.  The bird watched Ron eating, and the cuteness of this little thing just grabbed his heart.  The next day Ron was once again sitting at the same table and the same bird hopped up on his table and watched him eat again.  The third day Ron was eating at a different table and sure enough this same bird landed on his table, but this time with a second bird standing next to it, as though to say, “we’ll stand together”.  Ron’s thought was, “I think God is wanting to speak to me through this little bird”. Ron began to think about what a bird represents Biblically. References to birds in the Bible usually represent leaning on human instincts, reasoning or natural wisdom.  Its not necessarily all bad, just limited. As Ron began to think about this little crippled bird standing on his table…  he realized loud and clear the message God was sharing…

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him and HE shall direct your paths.  Proverbs 3:5-7

I so needed to hear that myself.  Not to lean on MY understanding, my human reasoning, but to look into the very eyes of my Daddy God and know that He will direct my path.  That He will enlarge my dreams, deepen my faith and open the doors larger that I ever dreamed.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us.  To Him be Glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.  Amen            Ephesians 3:20

To Him be Glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.  Amen.  Let it be done!
