Grace for Promotion

“But may the God of all Grace, who called us to His Eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” (1 Pet. 5:10)

Our Heavenly Father is the God of all grace, who calls you and I to share in His Eternal Glory and feel the comfort of a sure foundation in Christ. He offers us forgiveness of sin, the gift of eternal life, and the eternal hope of access to heaven’s resources. Though we often suffer temporary hardships in this life, He never wastes an experience. He matures us through all that we face good or bad. He strengthens us to endure whatever may come. He assures us that we are on an unshakable foundation of faith. The storms will come, the winds will howl, the rain will fall, but our house will stand. The enemy might attack for a season, but His power is eternal; and the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard against the enemies we face (Isa. 59:19). Indeed – “No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, God shall condemn” (Isa. 54:17). To Him be all the Power and Praise – forever!
