Resurrected Love

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

  • He emptied Himself, to fill us with His life! (Jn 10:9-11)
  • He emptied His cross, to fill us with His joy! (Jn 16:22-24)
  • He emptied His tomb, to fill us with His Spirit! (Jn 20:19-23)

Someone once said, “The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single act in history that separates Christianity from every other religion, every other philosophy, and every other belief system!”

The Light of Resurrected Love:

If you wonder why the resurrection matters so much, its because of love… the Father’s Love. Supernatural and unconditional; its the love of God that stands out as central to our understanding of Easter. Nothing can fill the human heart like love. It is the light that sets us free! God so loved the world… that He gave His only begotten Son!

Changing the World:

God placed His Son into a process that would change the world and its inhabitants forever. Jesus spoke from the cross, ”Father, forgive them”! yet He spoke in the resurrection “Father, come fill them”! With the grave behind Him He breathed spiritual life into them. Its true we have no knowledge of what our sins have done, but we are growing everyday with an awareness of our freedom from the power of Satan’s grip. Jesus emptied the tomb to fill us with the love of God… the breath that would transform our lives. It is the Holy Spirit who gives us the freedom to dream God’s dream and live fully captured by His resurrected love.

Hallelujah! He is Alive in Us!
