Seeing Glory

I believe God is wanting to bring restoration and hope to the land of Kenya. No question, in order to release revival in this part of the world, there must be a fresh vision of Jesus. John the Baptist prepared the path for the Lamb of God to come into view for the nation of Isreal. The prophet Isaiah tells us that John needed to “make straight in the desert, a highway for our God” (Isa 40:3-5). The valleys would need to be exalted and the mountains made low. The crooked places needed to be made straight and the rough places made smooth. And why? “For the Glory of the Lord to be revealed” in such a way that everyone would see it!

A Pathway for Glory:

Kingdom people are designed to carry the Glory of God and release shifts into the atmosphere. John was a voice crying in the wilderness… “prepare your hearts, repent of your ways, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”.  John was not looking for just any man when he looked for Jesus. The Lamb of God would be recognized by the fact that at His baptism the Spirit would come like a dove and land upon Him and stay. God was asking John to notice how peace would come into the world. The Lamb of God would serve as an entry point for the “dove” to land and for peace to be recognized. Remember the phrase… “a place for the dove to land”.

Glory is the atmosphere of God’s Peace:

This is the picture God has shone us about Noah. Even as he waited for the new land to appear; he could not be confident until the dove, having been released found a place to land and stay. We are not just looking for a meeting or a group of people; we are looking for an open Heaven, where the dove will have a place to rest.

Glory is Recognized by Peace:

When Jesus sent out the 12 disciples in Matthew 10, He said freely you have received now freely give, yet when you go into a community look for places to impart your peace. If they will not receive it then take it back unto yourself, wipe the dust off of your feet and journey to the next community.

Making Glory Visible and Recognizable:

What Jesus was saying is that we are still looking for places where the dove will be welcome and find rest. The dove is the Biblical symbol for the Peace provided by the Presence of the Holy Spirit. This is still our urgent mission; not just to win a bunch of people to our point of view, but to bring an atmosphere that unlocks the revelation that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And all are welcome to see into its Glory and live in its Peace.

Anticipating the Sight:

As we step into the land of Kenya in just a few days, I am confident we are going to find places for the dove to land. I am confident we will see the Glory of God more clearly.

This email says it all:

Hello man of God, it is good to partner for the Kingdom of the Lord. When two or three are gathered in the Name of the Lord, He is always present. What the Lord started He will have to accomplish. Remember we are here just for a time, the Lord is about to come back for His Church! It is my prayer that we must be among the wants to go with Him. Why- it is His fruit that is in us! This morning in morning devotion we were reading from Proverbs 6:20-24 and it was a blessing. People here are very hungry and thirsty for Word and for God. If you look the way they turn up for prayers in the morning it makes me cry tears before God. Remember it is from 5am to 7am we give God all the glory!  Kenya must catch fire for revival.  This dear sons and daughters of God are praying for you and your coming! Pray for them also Friend, Pastor Ron. I have never seen people praying the way it happen here in our Church! It shows me that you have a big heart for God and his people. They are waiting for you, Man of God.

Blessing from Eldoret; Apostle Allan Mugoha
