Expect from God

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Rom. 10:17)

The best resource you have is God’s current Word to you. I don’t think there is anything more important than hearing His voice and expecting His purposes to be fulfilled in your life. The recipe for growth as a disciple of Jesus is first – reading His Word and second – expecting it to manifest in your life.

Bible Results:

The Bible is guaranteed to produce results (Isa. 55:8-11). But what are they? Spiritual Expectation… FAITH! Biblical Truth comes directly from God and enlarges faith. It shapes the way we see and is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16). What it does is produce a supernatural faith in the hearer. It shifts the hearer’s world view and sets new foundations for reality. I urge you – read the Bible for yourself! See for yourself. As a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you in order to lead you in the truth. You have the very Author of the Bible right there with you to show you reality from God’s perspective.

Shifting into Expectation:

This is the believing process that offers spiritual transformation. When you and I are given the opportunity to see what God sees and hear as God’s Children, then we feel our natural perceptions shift. Our thoughts and understandings weaken to the overwhelming reality of Truth, “reality from God’s perspective”. Faith comes by hearing the Truth of the Word of God! Faith is a wonderful gift, given at the moment of revelation; and a powerful seed that grows as it is watered. Faith is all about believing what God says about us, not what others say. Faith inspires us to expect God’s love and power.

Expect the Best:

Expect God’s help, wisdom, strength and favor to increase… your future is not hinged to natural limitation when you allow the Word of God to touch your “expector”. You can expect your needs to be met! How can I be so sure… because God is not a liar! Want to learn more? Just pick up your Bible. Like a Divine Library, the Bible contains thousands of promises that are already yours!

Remember that God is faithful! Remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Nothing is impossible with God!

There is no limit to what God can do through His Word in you. Trust Him to provide abundant life (Jn. 10:10)!

My Bible

My Bible is a book of history, science, poetry, human frailty and faith. I love it, ‘cuz its fascinating and character building, while it still helps me answer the questions that challenge me most in life. Perhaps the most important reason I love my Bible is because, it is a love story that reveals the heart of God through the person of Jesus Christ… His Son.

This Book Is Unique:

How incredible would it be to have 66 books, all written over a period of 1,500 years, by more than 40 authors, in three languages and on three continents, carrying the same basic message? This book is a miracle waiting to be opened every time I look at its cover. Rather than contradicting one another, the writers reveal a supernatural harmony from Genesis to Revelation. It makes my heart race every time I open it.

Inspired by God:

The Bible was written by people (2 Pet 1:20-21) under the inspiration of God (2 Tim 3:16). It speaks to me, because God exerted His supernatural influence on the writers. In other words, God was the real author and men were His writing tools. There are many proofs of this truth, but perhaps the greatest proof is the accuracy of Biblical prophecy. Over a thousand Old Testament Scriptures were fulfilled just when Jesus came to the Earth as the Christ, the Messiah.

My Bible Gets Used:

Studying the Bible is essential for Christians. The Bible itself, instructs us to, “Study to show yourself approved unto God as a workman who can rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15). Its the Truth that matters. I make it my goal to immerse myself daily in God’s Word, like the Bereans who searched the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11). I find the revelation that comes out of the Word of God to be transforming and encouraging to my daily experience as a Child of God. My Bible gets used more than anything in my life, because of how it makes me feel. The Bible speaks to me, as if I were sitting at the feet of God, Himself!

  • I am wiser, because of the principles given there.
  • I am richer, because of the treasures hidden there.
  • I am stronger, because of the power discovered there.
  • I am saved, because of the love that is offered there!
