Restoration

“I will restore or replace for you” says the Lord, “the years that the locust has eaten… the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.” (Joel 2:25-27)

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Although the past is irreversible and overwhelming at times… God is the restorer of broken dreams and shattered lives! He has declared a New Day available for all of humanity! God has laid a foundation of hope in Christ – He is saying we can be a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17)… and our old ways can be in the past! There is a new beginning waiting for us, filled with new chances, new opportunities and new expectations (Isa. 43:18-21). God will wipe away our rotten past and restore that which was lost, stolen or destroyed by sin, brokenness or the devil.

Restoration begins by Believing!

As the Savior of mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ has done all to rescue us from the things that diminish or destroy us. If we can but believe – hope opens the door! There is a restoration coming into our spirits, minds, bodies, relationships, and other aspects of our humanity. Believers can be delivered from oppression (Acts 10:38) and rest in the safety that effects spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being (Mt. 11:28-30).

Come, you weary, broken and lost and find a place of safety in His loving care for you.

Hope is a Destination!

Run into the arms of your Father in the Spirit! There you will have plenty and be complete, satisfied and whole. He wants you to know the truth and the freedom of walking in His Presence! It is His joy to reveal His heart toward you! He is a Father… like no other. He will not allow His people to be orphans or feel ashamed anymore. This is a profound truth that no one else can claim.

Let Him speak into your heart today… “I the Lord am your God and there is no one else!”

Clyde’s Testimony

These past few weeks have been a season of increasing glory… God has been very good and very active. Some of what all Christians should hear is going to be the topic of this blog. Testimonies are more than just descriptions of an experience… they serve as the wisdom of God that invites us into deeper revelation of His love and purpose for our lives. So what follows is a testimony of a man that was raised from the dead October 25th 2009. The man’s name is Clyde and he is very much real and growing in His awareness of God’s purpose for His life. I wrote about his story in my October 27th blog, titled “Gateway People”… enjoy.

Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 was a completely unusual day, I died of a heart attack during early morning church services. I remember my chest really hurting and the next thing I knew I was standing on a great abyss in which I saw 2 paths, one was like a goat path and the other a super highway ( I guess this was so that my mind might have a reference point); the goat path was all gnarled and hard to traverse, it seemed as if it hadn’t been travelled in years. The superhighway was all lit up and sparkling, being travelled by more (souls) than I could count. On what looked like an on ramp there was a creature a time and a half as tall as a regular man and eyes that were a piercing, yet dull, or drunk looking red. Hair that was long (to the mid-chest), unkept and coarse and wings twice as big as the body. The face was sunken in and had teeth that came to points, sharp and dripping with goo, and a smile that seemed intoxicated with a perverse pleasure. In the left hand was a staff taller by half than the creature, with a scythe at the top, glistening in the light of the highway. This creature beckoned to me, pulling me towards it’s grasp. My body seemed helpless to stop as I felt myself being pulled ever so slowly. I tried to speak. To scream at it to let me alone, but no sound came from my lips. It was as if there was no breath in my body. The creature let out a sound that was far worse than the cry of a banshee. It’s smile becoming wider and crueler the closer I was drawn to it. About this time everything stopped, and I noticed what seemed like a million fireflies floating in my direction, not fast nor slow, but with a movement that defied my understanding. As this mist drew closer the creature appeared to shrink away, becoming smaller and smaller. It was then that the mist engulfed me. Filling me with such complete and utter peace like I had never known. As the mist was carrying me along I was given the sight of a city such as has never been seen. The walls were translucent and shimmering with the brightness of the Morning Star. I closed my eyes, afraid to look, it was as if this was something I shouldn’t ever be able to see. But the mist urged me to open my eyes. To look once again on the city. As I looked I saw souls (spirits) going in and out and to and fro. Along with what I can only describe as my perception of Angels. They were clothed in white light, singing songs in languages I had never heard. Yet I know the songs were praises to the one who sat in the center of the city. I wanted so much to cover my eyes, feeling ashamed and unworthy to see the splendor that was flowing from what looked like a throne made of the purest gold. I saw a river flowing from this throne and to it’s left a tree so large it seemed to dwarf those around it. Suddenly the mist that surrounded me, took me to the goat path and I could see it winding this way and that from all directions yet at it’s end was a path into the city itself. My body felt a burning desire to walk into the city yet the mist clouded my view and then the city disappeared. As I found the mist departing I was standing once again between the goat path and the super highway. I started to take a few faltering steps towards the goat path and I heard my name being called. There was a burning on my right shoulder and chest and I heard myself being commanded back into my physical body. It was then that I awoke and was told I had been dead, and that Pastor Ron, through the Holy Spirit, had commanded me back among the living. I cannot say why this miracle was given to me, only that I was dead and that what I have written is what was given to me to see. Praise be to God. There is a Heaven and there is a hell. One only has to have eyes to see and ears to hear. From that moment on I have dedicated my life to the Lord and ask that the Holy Spirit fill me and use me as the Father would want. Clyde Reams
