Value the Testimony

I find enormous value in personal testimonies, because when I see or hear of God working in people’s lives; it makes the supernatural attainable.

Testimonies keep me encouraged and informed in regards to the effect the Kingdom of Heaven is having upon the Earth.

It seems impossible for me to sit through a wonderful testimony and not feel excited about the power of God. To think about my limitations and meditate on what I feel God has not done, only leaves me discouraged and hopeless. But hearing good news and  listening to stories of God’s willingness to touch others… gives me hope and causes me to believe.

Our victory does not  depend upon the size of our enemy; but on the size of our heart.

I’ve seen hundreds of miracles in my life; but the truth is I must intentionally recognize and celebrate the goodness of God in all of them… large or small. I’ve discovered that my heart is enlarged by the testimony of God.

Its all impossible – testimonies make them reasonable.

What I begin to believe, I will begin to achieve.

As long as I steward my heart well before the Lord and allow His works to point me to Him, then He will continue to stir awe and wonder inside of me. Its the awe and the wonder that releases my praise. I want my heart and mind to be filled with the revelation of God; therefore my soul must resonate with the goodness of God… “this is what He is like!” and “this is what He will do!”

When questions arise; my soul will arise as well, with a word in due season. It is a spiritual law that when testimonies become my dwelling place; great wisdom and strength become available to me when I need them. David said:

  •  ”the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple” (Ps 19:7)
  •  ”Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors” (Ps 119:24)
  •  ”I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation” (Ps 119:99).

David’s passion for the testimony of God positioned him for access to stunning encounters and revelation. He was actively getting to know God. His strength and courage of heart were not accidental, but nurtured experiences that he meditated on daily. He was a friend of God who developed into a man after God’s own heart.

Deeper wisdom and deeper understanding of the ways of God lead us into deeper intimacy and greater fruit in our daily lives.

Isn’t that what we are after… fruit that invites the world to see that God is real and active. I encourage you at all cost… place a high value on the testimony.
